    PURPLEHEART

    Purpleheart is the final exam of my studies for 2D animator and it is a court talking about DCA. It is a gift for my girlfriend and a dedication for who struggle everyday against this mental disturb. It’s a resilience symbol and a hope for women and men that can’t be truly in peace with themselves.
    The 1:30 film is inspired to east animation with references at Japanese anime like Devilman Crybaby and Chainsaw Man. Everything is set into this fast food where numbers e social advertising dominate the scenes without let the girl protagonist to eat and live in peace, but all change when she met the view with a guy that is eating an hamburger with serenity. When he notices her and the numbers within, he throws one of them to the glass dividing them generating a hole. She walk trough and break the partition, finally seeing the green side of life. When someone noticed her, she had the strength to leave the habitat where everything is oppressive to see something breathable…she leave the vial.
