Hello I'm Slava, I am based in Dundee, Scotland, and confident working remotely. I have worked in many creative aspects of gaming production for over 10 years: I started creating character designs, concept art for pitch bibles, and children’s literature illustration at King Bee in 2016. Then, in my role as an art and animation intern at Outplay Entertainment, I gradually specialised in 2D character rigging and animation in Esoteric Spine software. However, I never stopped creating traditional and digital art, even after I specialised in animation professionally. Sign in: https://www.twine.net/signup_ Because of my rounded creative background, and understanding of both the art and animation pipelines, I have confidently taken ownership of animation projects from concept through to finished piece: During my time working on Angry Birds POP!, I created many of the monetized costumes from concept through to finished assets in photoshop, and animation in Spine. I’m a storyteller at heart and took great pleasure in creating 2D cinematic sequences for Mystery Match Village, from storyboard, through to finished animation in Unity. In a previous role as a Senior animator for Drest Ltd., I used my expertise to create the animation style guide, work with engineers to build unique Spine to Unity workflows, up- skill my colleagues in Spine software, and create realistic face and body animations for a luxury fashion styling game. I also learned how to create digital makeup for photorealistic models in photoshop, as part of inter- disciplinary skillsharing. As an “animator-by-day, artist-by-night” I have learned important lessons in planning and self motivation! I am always keen to take on new challenges and believe that my excellent communication, reliability, problem solving skills, and passion for creating high quality human made art and animation are all transferable skills that would make me the perfect choice for freelance art or animation roles.
