I’ve always enjoyed the part of marketing where you take something a little raw — a photo, a video clip, a student project, a campaign idea, a half-written update — and turn it into something people actually want to stop and look at.
My background is in social media, content marketing and website updates across different kinds of brands, from retail and community-facing work to B2B campaigns. I’ve worked on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, websites, newsletters and campaign content, creating posts, refreshing pages, organising content calendars and tracking what people respond to. A lot of my work has been about making content clearer, more polished and more engaging, without losing the original feeling behind it.
What I like about this role is that it’s not just “posting content.” It’s about choosing the right pieces to show — the student work that feels exciting, the behind-the-scenes moments that parents would love, the testimonials that build trust, and the visuals that make the club feel active and creative. For an animation club, especially one working with children, I think the content needs to feel warm, joyful and real — not overly corporate.
I use Canva and Adobe Photoshop to create and adapt social media visuals, promotional graphics and website imagery. I’m also comfortable organising content from different people, giving clear feedback, keeping a posting schedule running and looking at engagement to understand what’s working.
I’d bring a mix of creativity, organisation and care to the role — making sure the club’s online presence feels lively, polished and genuinely connected to the children, tutors, schools and families it serves.
