    A pre-launch Vancouver IoT SaaS startup, Not Socials blends physical NFC hardware with an integrated mobile app and website to allow users to share personalized profiles instantly. The website is live at https://www.twine.net/signin with pre-orders launching soon.

    I’ve built everything technical for Not Socials, including the architecture and decision making process. When I was brought in the product manufacturing was already complete, but the software running on it as well as the final hardware in the chip was not fleshed out. I worked with the team to decide on what features would be available and what chip is embedded. The website is built using NextJS and is running on AWS using the CDK with a serverless backend using AWS Lambda. The app is built using React Native and Expo. Each chip has to be programmed using APDU commands, which was something brand new for me, and required reading extensive documentation.

    I helped the company to qualify for the League of Innovators startup accelerator, and once inside we secured an ~$15k CAD dollar AWS credit for the company.
