2D/3D Animation - Reality Check Explainer Animation

This is a 2D/3D product animation I created for my client, Improve Group Inc., of Albuquerque, NM.
I collaborated with the company’s marketing team, creating the animation from concept to video, involving: creating the script, storyboard, asset creation, animatic, rough animation, and ultimately the finished 2D animation video. I also outsourced the voice talent for narration.
My contributions were:

• Conceptual and storyboard art creation (freehand art)
• Creation of the 2D assets for the animation (using Illustrator and Photoshop)
• 3D modeling, Texturing, Lighting, Animation, and batch-image renders of camera shots of the 3D wall scene and logo animation (using 3D software Autodesk Maya)
• Creation of the music track from multiple royalty-free sound bytes (using After Effects)
• Animation of 2D assets and text (using After Effects)
• Composited batch-rendered shots and text animation, along with music and effects (using After Effects)
• Rendering and delivery of final animation video (After Effects)
