I have been a successful composer and conductor for over fifty years mainly in the theatre in church and in education. My composing style is contemporary and accessible. I have conducted major choral and orchestral music plus some chamber music. I have composed some film music for private projects and I would be keen to get involved with collaborative projects. Music has been my life and although I am now in my seventies my enthusiasm for the creative and performing arts remain undiminished.

uniE603 Requiescat - Oscar Wilde's poem about the death of his sister
This is a setting of Requiescat, a poem by Oscar Wilde. It forms part of my English Requiem a choral and orchestra work first performed in 2019. Requiescat is scored for tenor solo with harp and cello and this recording is taken from the live performance in Yorkshire. The tenor soloist is Jason Darnell, the harpist Anita Aslin and the 'cellist is Julia Brewer. I conducted the whole work including this excerpt. The orchestrations/arrangements are all my work and the score is available from CSN Music - visit https://www.twine.net/signin for more details.
