I would like to introduce myself briefly. I have been living in the beautiful city of Groningen with my two cats for almost 20 years. Always looking for new challenges, I started Calisthenics a few months ago to stay fit for the wakeboarding season and to learn some acrobatic exercises. I like drawing, reading, listening to podcasts or playing boardgames with my friends but I also love to switch off my brain by watching soaps or reality TV. I love my profession and am passionate about my work. As a freelancer, I have built up broad expertise in the field of visual communication and graphic design, both for print and web, over the past few years. My work includes designing logos, corporate identities, flyers, books, dissertations, websites and illustrations. By working closely with clients, I have learned to translate their wishes into powerful and effective designs. Customer focus and quality are always central to this, which is why I am used to working in an environment where expectations are high. During my period as an employee, I gained further experience in various aspects of graphic design, including facade lettering and the layout of magazines and newspapers. These experiences have strengthened my technical skills and deepened my insight into the creative process. Of course, I am proficient in InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator and I am able to work independently.
