    Deta is a Berlin-based start-up, currently developing an AI-integrated web browser Deta Surf. I collaborated with them to create their product launch video in form of an hand-drawn animation, inspired by the soft Studio Ghibli aesthetic deviating from the typical tech-centric visuals. The animation follows Zoe, a curious and playful child reminiscing her first encounter with the web, the fast developments that followed, towards a re-exploration through Deta Surf, a new approach to the browsing experience.

    I worked on developing four distinct character designs for the website to visually represent the browser’s key features. The concepts are inspired by Studio Ghibli’s magical aesthetic, with a focus on creating approachable, symbolic, and playful representations of the browser’s AI-powered functionality, rather than overtly tech-focused.
