I also tracked engagement to see how the new identity was received, and the numbers told us we were moving in the right direction. Here the idea was to test humor. Could we strip a post down to one silly joke and still get engagement? The answer was yes. It worked as a scroll-breaker, got shares, and kept the brand from sounding too stiff. I monitored reach and reactions closely, and it confirmed humor could be part of the brand’s voice when used in the right doses. This was for a different mood. The client wanted a storytelling angle, something that built authority without sounding like a textbook. I suggested using cultural figures that people already respect. Ratan Tata was a natural pick. It made the post feel grounded and relatable. Analytics showed longer viewing time on this one — people stayed on the slides instead of scrolling past. In the end, every post was both a creative test and a data point. We weren’t just putting ideas out – we were watching what landed, what didn’t, and adjusting. That mix of storytelling and analytics is what shaped Futuresmith’s new voice.
