Hi, I’m Taylor Davies, a filmmaker and post-production editor who built a practice doing it all: from cinematography, directing, location and post sound, to color grading and picture editing. That full-pipeline background shapes how I edit: I'm not just assembling footage; I'm thinking about what the camera was trying to say and how the edit can finish that sentence. One of my favorite projects I've produced was a short film I shot and edited in 72 hours for a directing class final. No crew, no safety net — just footage, instinct, and a deadline. Friends and family who watched it were moved to sit with the questions it raised about how we see our close relationships. That's what I chase in every edit: the moment where every frame stops being technical and starts being felt. I bring that same attention to pacing and emotional beats to everything I work on, whether it's a 90-second social clip or a two-hour workshop recording. I've worked across narrative, documentary, and live-event formats, handling multi-source footage, B-roll integration, sound design, and color grading from start to finish. I'm comfortable in Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve, work well independently, and genuinely welcome feedback as part of the process. And yes — I have a dog. The opportunity to edit content that helps people become better companions to their pets is something I genuinely care about, not just clock hours on.
