My name is Tejas Ananth and I am a 17 year old aspiring film/game composer. I have completed Grade 8 Piano Performance with the Australian Guild of Music and am currently enrolled into the Bachelor of Music: Composition for Creative Industries with the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. I’ve composed short pieces for video for businesses such as QR Memorials through their affiliate program and I have also composed a piece for a student film.

This piece is called ‘King of Curses’ and aims to capture the sinister and malevolent character of a malignant being.
This piece blends elements of both the electronic and orchestral worlds to truly evoke an unsettling and eerie atmosphere reminiscent of an evil being. It also incorporates elements of Indian music to further enhance the musical depth of this piece and make it even more impactful

This piece is called ‘ritual’ and employs a variety of instruments that revolve around an unsettling, tribal and enigmatic atmosphere.
This piece was created for leisure and incorporates a variety of innovative elements of music theory whilst extending the boundaries of music. This piece incorporates a time signature mimicking the Fibonacci sequence to create an unsettling sonic environment whilst blending both electronic elements such as synthesisers and acoustic elements such as strings and woodwinds. The core of this piece is carried by its percussion which really emphasises the unconventional metre, ultimately crafting an enigmatic and eerie setting.
