For busy parties the beermat option is often more convenient, but it's up to you. I can happily do either. My current fee for 3 hours on site drawing is €350. I charge €70 per hour after the initial three hours. I speak English and Dutch, and previous clients have recommended me for my drawing skills and friendly personality.
