I am a Swiss-born composer, musicologist, and educator based in London with more than 30 years of international teaching experience. I create original music for independent filmmakers' films, documentaries, theatre, and media projects, and I balance my work across composing, research, and education. My approach blends scholarly insight with creative flexibility, enabling me to adapt to diverse genres and narrative needs while maintaining a distinctive musical voice. I studied Musicology, Popular Cultural Studies, and Art History at the University of Zurich, where I completed my PhD. My work draws on these scholarly foundations as well as practical experience, and I bring curiosity, clarity, and musical storytelling to every project I undertake.
