What happens when families decide that “home” and school can be anywhere in the world? In this short documentary I met families from the UK, New Zealand and the U.S who homeschool their children while traveling full-time. In the video we’ll meet teens who bond through music and parents who talks about a global community that replaces the traditional village.

Two teenage musicians, Gabe and Jake, meet by chance in Thailand and immediately connect through music. Within a couple of hours they’re jamming together — a friendship that quickly leads them to perform at open mic nights in countries like Vietnam, Malaysia, Morocco and Montenegro.

World schooling means that the children are learning about Egypt in Egypt, Buddhism in Asia, the Roman Empire in Italy and so forth. Basically history where the history happened.
