uniE621 Celtic Fertility Vessel - Juried Student Art Exhibit Entry
This vessel was my entry into the Juried Student Art Exhibition in the Fall of 2025. My inspiration for this piece came from my Celtic heritage. Everything from the shape of the vessel, the colors used, and the carvings into it are reminiscent of traditional Celtic and near-Gallo-Roman ideas - such as the Gundestrup Cauldron and the shamrock.
uniE621 Song of Achilles: Book Cover - Personal Project
Since practicing digital illustration in early 2025, I had strayed away from traditional art mediums for some time. I felt I needed to return to my roots by completing a pencil illustration. I found inspiration in the book, "The Song of Achilles" - which I was reading for a class. This piece was a significant undertaking, and pushed the boundaries of my skills and talent as a traditional-medium artist. designer illustrator photo
    uniE621 BBNO$ - Personal Project
This portrait of rap artist BBNO$ is my largest and most detailed illustration to date. I used eight different images of BBNO$ himself for the portrait - splicing them together to create a completely new composition. The dollar bill seen in the background was created by overlaying pertinent details about the artist himself over a low-transparency image of a $100 bill - each piece meticulously pseudo-replicating the real bill. This illustration took me around two weeks of consistent, daily work. illustrator designer
uniE621 WSU: Stewart Library - "Reading" Themed Sticker Design
The Stewart Library at Weber State University opened up submissions for “reading” themed stickers early in 2025. I chose the theme, “Keep Reading Alive” – featuring several animals that are currently facing endangerment or extinction. Considering the recent/current political climate, and furthering efforts to remove progressive books from education systems across the country, I find it incredibly important to help "Keep Reading Alive". That way, future generations can continue to learn about this incredible planet that we call home! My Hammerhead Shark was one of the designs selected and printed for the Stewart Library. illustrator designer
uniE621 "Tofu" - Pet Portrait Commission
I was commissioned by a friend to Illustrate his two pets. This is Tofu. During the beginning of 2025, I started exploring Adobe Illustrator. To practice digital illustration, I offered pet portrait commissions through my personal Facebook page. I had only done art in traditional mediums up until this point, so these commissions were my first attempt at realism-based artwork through digital mediums. I had an exciting time managing the differing layers, figuring out methods of creation , and finding those that worked well for me as a traditional-medium realism artist! illustrator
