I was introduced to Tim Norell by a friend. But when russia started bombing Ukraine, Tim immediately decided to write a song in support of Ukraine. It happened that we were introduced at that very moment — when I was still hiding in a basement from Russian bombs. Tim kept in touch all the time and supported me. As soon as the explosions eased a bit, we began working quickly. Sometimes, while mixing the track, a missile attack would start, and the sound of explosions would blend with the low drum beats, and I couldn’t tell which was which. Then, from a safe place, my wife would call, shouting that another attack had begun and scolding me for not being in the shelter. That’s how this song was created."
