After nearly 25 years in business, Matrix was ready for a change. They wanted to create an expression that really felt like who they were. They had rebranded a few years prior but the work fell flat. We knew that they didn’t tap into their authentic spirit, and we also knew we could do that. Through our unique process, we got to the heart of who Matrix is: purpose-driven, caring healthcare experts who have made it their life’s mission to deliver the best care to all people.
Ethos Laboratories was a growing business that emerged triumphant from the Covid pandemic being the first and only provider of mobile testing units in its region. Post-pandemic it wanted to continue its momentum and needed a new brand and strategy to do that. It had launched an exciting new product, Foundation Pain Index which was the only tool to date that could measure pain in individuals. This product presented an opportunity to elevate Ethos Laboratories from being viewed as a commodity lab provider to a leader in the chronic pain industry. The following work showcases how we created a market niche for Ethos, creating not only an authentic expression of its business but also a new category within which Ethos would be the leader.
