    built-in narrative. The edit needed to shift smoothly between calm scenic
    moments and high-energy discovery, clean up inconsistent location audio
    (wind, boat engine, underwater gaps), and match Yes Theory’s established
    cinematic look.

    My Approach

    • Built a story-first assembly — establishing a clear beginning, rising
      tension, and payoff before fine-cutting
    • Tightened pacing and rhythm — slower holds on scenic drone shots, faster
      cuts during action and discovery moments
    • Repaired and designed sound — cleaned noisy location audio, layered
      ambient and music beds, added sound design to underwater and aerial sequences
    • Applied a cinematic color grade — boosted natural blues and greens to match

    • Delivered a broadcast-ready final cut, technically QC’d and export-optimized
