paper Character Development: The Foundation of Storytelling (Case Study: The Dojo)
I believe that great sequential art begins long before the first panel is drawn. Before starting a new comic, I prioritize a rigorous character development phase, focusing on building strong, multidimensional concepts. In my project "The Dojo," this philosophy was essential. To bring the protagonist, Jubei, to life, I had to look beyond his physical appearance. By defining his personality, his personal history as a karate sensei, and his unique behavioral nuances, I ensured that his presence on the page felt authentic. Establishing these core traits early on was vital to capture the intersection between martial arts discipline and everyday life, ensuring that his internal philosophy—the search for growth—was clearly communicated through his expressions and body language. illustrator graphicdesigner
paper "The Dojo" – Sequential Art Project
Currently developing The Dojo, an original comic series centered on karate philosophy applied to modern daily life. In collaboration with writer Daniel Aparecido Zeminiani, I am responsible for transforming narrative concepts into visual storytelling. My contribution encompasses the full production pipeline: from initial traditional storyboarding and framing studies to digital penciling and final art. This project highlights my ability to manage long-form visual narratives, apply professional storytelling techniques, and translate complex philosophical themes into a compelling graphic format. Key Skills: Sequential Art, Storyboarding, Penciling, Inking, Narrative Composition.
paper Justice League: Salvation – Sequential Art Project
This project is a narrative exploration within the DC Comics universe, focusing on advanced storytelling techniques and the refinement of professional standards in sequential art. Throughout this series, my objective was to push the boundaries of visual rhythm, dynamic panel transitions, and composition. I aimed to master the balance between intimate human moments and chaotic action sequences, using the American comic book aesthetic to bridge the gap between everyday life and high-stakes superhero narrative. By carefully managing the pacing of each page, I sought to create a seamless flow that guides the reader’s eye while emphasizing character-driven storytelling. Role: Lead Artist (Pencils and Inks) Focus: Visual Storytelling, Sequential Flow, and Environmental Composition. pdf illustrator
paper Tagmar Board Game (Packaging Redesign)

Scope: Art direction, custom illustration, and packaging design.
I was responsible for the end-to-end development of the product’s visual and structural identity. My role included creating original illustrations to set the game’s visual narrative, followed by packaging design, focusing on information hierarchy, usability, and shelf appeal. This project combined artistic illustration skills with technical production knowledge (print-ready design), resulting in a functional, immersive, and production-ready physical product.

    paper Tagmar regranding

This work outlines the evolution of Tagmar, the first Brazilian RPG, originally launched in 1991. After the brand became inactive, the project was revived in 2004 under a collaborative model. The primary contribution involved creating illustrations for several titles between 2005 and 2012, alongside a strategic modernization of the visual identity. The goal of the redesign was to update the classic logo to modern standards while preserving its historical significance and emotional connection with fans.
