Hi! I'm Vaughn M. Jacobson, a junior at Ball State University enrolled in the College of Communication, Information, and Media (CCIM) with a focus on Production. I'm on track to graduate in 2027 with a 3.3 GPA and am actively involved with Cardinal Compass and NewsLink Indiana, where I help produce midday news briefs and episodes. I enjoy coordinating multiple projects across different teams and learning hands-on in fast-paced studio environments. On campus, I serve as the Senior Director for Cardinal Compass and have hands-on experience directing Live-to-Tape recordings, script writing, guest planning, and mentoring fellow students. I also have direct experience with Midday News Briefs at NewsLink Indiana, where I direct, produce, anchor, and craft rundowns, and create news packages covering Ball State University and Delaware County.
