My name is Roy McCall. I’m a young 67 years old. In 1981, at the age of 22, I recorded a country tune called “Blastoff Columbia”. This tune was played to the first space shuttle astronauts in space as a wake-up call. The song and my name was heard all over the world. From there my career in music took off. I opened up for many top named performers like, Hank Williams Jr., Waylon Jennings, the Bellamy brothers to name a few. I was asked to go on the road with Alabama in 1981, but due to bad management, that fell through. I continued to play gigs, do voice-over commercials for the likes of tire stores and small grocery chains. Retired from performing on stage and started freelancing as a voice actor. Since 2021 I have been voice acting full time. I’ve done a voice for Hal Haskins as a building superintendent in the Dragnet version of the tower of Bable. I did the voice of “The Hulk” for an internet movie about the Avengers. This roll gave me a IMDb designation. I recently recorded a voice over for a blue collar job listing commercial, as well as several small non-paid voice overs. I audition everyday for parts that fit my voices. I wish to continue using my deep southern voice to provide voice over help to businesses, and product managers. I have a nice well established studio, where I can produce a quality product to help promote your business.
