Led backend development and architecture for two production applications on a shared TypeScript monorepo. Migrated from WordPress/WooCommerce to a custom NestJS + Next.js stack, enabling scalability and faster feature delivery. Defined domain boundaries and modular infrastructure (product, order, payment, analytics, integrations) and re-architected a fragmented microservice setup into a modular monolith to reduce overhead and improve deployments. Built a versioned product system with variations, pricing rules, subscriptions, discounts, and multi-shipment orders; integrated a design editor for print-on-demand workflows; created an event-driven order management system; implemented Stripe payments and U.S. tax compliance; and built internal admin tooling and observability.
