This was a shortfilm made entirely by me. I collaborated with a local highschool for permission to use their location to shoot. Within a 1 month timeframe I wrote, filmed, produced, edited, added visual effects, sound design and music this entire 10 minute film.
Shot with iPhones and with limited equipment, I managed to get this project finished with great quality.

My job here was creating a motion comic from the original comic pages, animating the still images in a compelling way while adding sound effects and creating immersive soundscapes. I was also responsible for creating animations morphing and animating each of the comic layers. But the issue I had to resolve was that I unfortunately wasn’t given the original project files of the comic, nor the saparate layers for the elements on screen, so I had to manually recreate them, inpainting characters from backgrounds, recreating parts hidden from view to be naturally animated in. (Wefere) Short-form video editing, subtitle integration, motion graphics, rotoscoping In this role, I produced engaging shorts for the TonyFrancoG channel. I implemented subtitles, smooth transitions, and a mix of 2D and 3D effects to enhance the visual storytelling. Additionally, I employed rotoscoping techniques to seamlessly integrate elements behind the on-screen subject, overcoming challenges related to missing assets and ensuring a polished final edit.

As a Social Media Video Editor, I specialized in creating engaging video content tailored for various social media platforms, ensuring that each piece resonated with the target audience. I collaborated closely with the marketing team to align video content with overall brand messaging and promotional strategies. Additionally, I utilized my understanding of digital advertising to enhance the visibility of our video content, effectively reaching a broader audience. My project design skills were instrumental in structuring promotional campaigns, allowing for a cohesive and impactful presentation of our brand’s message across multiple channels.

I was in charge of editing short-form promotional content for the social media campaign of Dr. Badillo, a candidate running for municipal president under the Partido Verde in Mexico. My responsibilities included assembling concise, visually engaging videos tailored for platforms like Instagram and Facebook, utilizing motion graphics to highlight key political messages and policy points. Given the nature of political communication, every edit required careful attention to tone, clarity, and visual emphasis to ensure the message was both persuasive and accessible to a broad audience.

I was responsible for editing engaging short-form videos for the channels “DanElCurioso” and “DanElGenio” on YouTube, as well as managing both channels’ content. This gig required me to do research on trending videos posted on social media, which I did in addition to creating a script optimized for viewer retention. I collaborated with the group of editors to help them achieve the standard goals for their videos, sharing my knowledge and skills with them as a team, as well as receiving and applying the client and past lead editor’s feedback to improve with an open mind. Additionally, I utilized digital advertising strategies by optimizing video content to enhance performance with the YouTube algorithm and conducting trend research to better engage the YouTuber’s audience.

I was responsible for making the sound effects, adding foley and synchronizing music. I was also responsible for making the visual effects for the film, wich included minor cleanup, rotoscoping, motion tracking and compositing.
