I’m a music producer developing new artists. A songwriter / track guy. I am able to programme beats, play bass, acoustic and electric guitar, I am able to sing the melody of the song and portray the feeling of the song so that others can learn it and sing it.
I have been touring and recording with The Proclaimers since 2004. 7 albums and world tours. I bring the experience of a passionate band playing to big crowds into the studio and guide the production with that energy in mind.
I have a small guitar, vocal mix room studio. Some vintage guitars and amps. A pedal steel and mandolin as well as my working guitars and bass. I run Logic Pro. Through a UAD interface.

Song produced and released: It’s A Wonderful Life (A Christmas Tale)
I was part of the writing team that released this Christmas song based on the film It’s A Wonderful Life and how it makes us feel .
I produced and mixed this track where the different contributors sent their parts to me to arrange and mix. Incorporating acoustic guitar and vocals from The Rayne. Trumpet and piano from Andrea Patron, BV’s provided by Corinne Schmidiger. Drums by Clive Jenner. Classical guitar, bass and electric guitar added in the studio.
Creator (Do What Brings You Joy) by Cherley Kane: upbeat groove, funk, dance track using live instruments and some programming. Backing vocals galore.
My role in this song was as the producer and one of the writers. I played bass guitar, lead and rhythm guitar, did some backing vocals recorded, engineered and mixed the project as well as bringing in a session drummer to get the groove right.
The EP Falling by Sleepwalk The Dog was recorded and mixed at my studio in Bath. The band came and stayed for 6 days and we recorded 5 songs. My role was to engineer, mix and deliver the finished product ready for mastering and release.
The EP Falling includes 4 songs. The Ways I Don’t Want You was recorded live in the studio.
