Hi, my name is Lewis Simon Preen, I am a games designer with over six years games design industry experience, fifteen years of personal growth and development and a MA degree in Games Design. I have professionally worked on games for Mobile and PC, from start-up, indie and AAA studios, as well as Console based projects personally. I have worked on action-adventure, casual, hyper casual, FPS, MOBS, platformers, sports simulation, strategy and turn based RPG games. My design skills lie in a variety of areas such as combat, economy, level, narrative, prototyping, system and technical. I have also had experience with producing, product management and UI. I have a passion for gamefeel and user feedback, ensuring that gamers are immersed in the games I help to create. As well as focusing on the 3C’s of game design “Camera, Character and Control” I enjoy creating and designing my own level and mission design from initial paperwork planning to grey boxing out the environment and then replacing them with models and puzzles. I have applied and technical skills in Unreal Engine 4 and 5 which includes visual scripting on an advanced level, creating my own blueprints and functions.
