Animation and Motion Graphics
projects from London - Tokyo _
I began the Zero Degrees Design animation business when I lived in Tokyo, Japan, between 2012 and 2018, and I brought the business to the UK when I returned in 2018.
Before this I worked as an Online Advertising Manager at Microsoft Japan (and prior to that, in Microsoft UK).
Clients of Zero Degrees Design have been mainly UK, Japan and Australia based, but also include other countries and languages from time to time. Clients include national organisations such as the NHS, international businesses such as Canon Electronics, but also small independent start-ups needing a launch video for their product.
The 2026 showreel displays a broad portfolio of animation and motion design examples I have produced, including: character animation, 3D environments, objects and text, logo animation cartoon/anime style Saas style abstract motion graphics, phone screen contents replacement, talking head, with lower third
The client shared their brief as a PowerPoint deck with descriptions of what they would like to see in each section of the video. I developed a visual concept and storyboard for review and approval by the client, and after signoff I developed the animated video with consideration of pacing and flow, visual priority and sound design.
This Saas explainer video was produced as a concept video to demonstrate a popular style of animation used by leading Saas brands.
