Zhiyu Jin is a Toronto-based film production and post-production practitioner currently completing the Advanced Film and Television Production program at Sheridan College. His work focuses on post-production workflows, virtual production, and collaborative filmmaking across multiple departments. With hands-on experience in a wide range of roles—including editor, director of photography, production designer, and Unreal Engine operator—Zhiyu has developed a strong understanding of end-to-end film production pipelines. His post-production experience includes media organization, footage logging, and digital asset management, supported by proficiency in Avid Media Composer, DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Final Cut Pro. In addition to his technical background, Zhiyu brings strong administrative and organizational skills developed through his experience as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Waterloo, where he supported documentation, coordination, and communication in structured environments.
