My experience spans from automated testing and programming to data-focused projects, giving me a strong foundation to contribute effectively while expanding my expertise in other programming languages and technologies such as Python and Golang. In my current role, I design and execute test scripts for Change Requests (CRs), validate Incidents with Application Support and maintain automated test suites using TDD/BDD. I also support with release nights, testing CR's and Incidents in the Production environment and carrying out basic regression and generic stakeholder use case test scenarios. I run regression packs for monthly releases - adapting scripts for new features and supporting teammates with GitHub workflows. When updates are necessary, I also document setup guides to enable independent use of automation libraries. These experiences have strengthened my ability to balance quality code practices with the demands of growing scale of projects and environments. Previously, I gained valuable experience in data focused projects, maintaining and enhancing data dictionaries, investigating defects with Oracle SQL, and validating BI against source data during migration projects. I tested new database structures, automated migration tasks with SAS scripts, and delivered stakeholder training on SAP Business Objects and PowerBI deployments. This gave me a strong grounding in SQL and data governance, as well as the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to a range of audiences. During my graduate scheme at Santander Consumer Finance UK, I rotated across Architecture, Testing, and Business Intelligence teams, developing automated test scripts in Java, Cucumber, and Gherkin, and working with SAS and PowerBI. My dissertation project in university was a pothole detection Android app coded in Java using Android Studio, Google’s Firebase utilised for the back end with a machine learning algorithm. The project demonstrated to me that I can learn new skills, be dynamic and adapt to the usage and understanding of new technologies and generating ideas which could become useful practical solutions. I am confident that my blend of testing expertise, programming experience, and data skills aligns well with your requirements.
