A 3D commercial for Weevents, a virtual events platform developed by Basetis. Born from the need for digital connection during the pandemic, the platform allows companies to host immersive conferences and meetings with customizable avatars in interactive 3D environments.
The goal was to create a dynamic promotional video for social media, showcasing the platform’s key features and user experience.

A 3D animated commercial for Fundació Joia, a prominent social foundation, produced by Baliente (the creative agency at Basetis). The project’s goal was to launch their new brand identity across both traditional and digital media, including television broadcast and social media campaigns.

A personal concept project to explore AI-driven workflows for character design and world-building. The goal was to create the cornerstone for a “visual bible” of a new sci-fi IP: a dystopian future where nature has reclaimed the Earth.
The result is Kaelen, a bio-tracker designed to survive in this new, dangerous world.
My Role & Process:
This project demonstrates a complete concept-to-creation workflow, showing how AI can be guided by strong art direction to produce unique and compelling intellectual property.
Key Tools:
- AI-Assisted Pre-production: I used the original 2004 character sketches as a foundation for a custom workflow in ComfyUI. This allowed me to rapidly generate style variations, color palettes, and detailed background scenery, turning weeks of work into days.
- Classic 3D Production: With the AI-generated assets approved, I moved into Autodesk Maya for the core production. All character modeling and animation is done manually, keyframe by keyframe, to ensure full control over timing, acting, and quality.
- Hybrid Post-production: The final stage happens in the Adobe Suite. I composite the Maya character renders over the AI-generated backgrounds in After Effects, adding VFX, color correction, and assembling the final edit.

In 2004, I created Space Toons, Spain’s first 3D animated web series. Over 20 years later, this project is an experiment to produce a new chapter by merging my classic 3D pipeline with a modern, AI-assisted workflow.
The challenge was not to replace, but to augment the traditional process: using generative AI to accelerate pre-production without sacrificing the artistic control of manual, keyframe animation.
