Sign in: https://www.twine.net/signup_ I have over ten years of experience in the graphic design field and I have a versatile set of skills in print design, digital design, and illustration. I’m very fortunate to have had the opportunity in my career to learn from so many individuals that I’ve worked with. This has allowed me to retain a lot of useful lessons and skills that assist me in my daily tasks at my current position with the Mandel JCC. I believe that I’m meant to be in the creative field. I’ve had a passion for creativity since I was young. I enjoyed drawing with my friends all throughout elementary school and once I graduated from high school I had my sights set on accomplishing a career in the arts. My bachelors degree from Florida International University and my degree from The Kubert School have both given me a foundational knowledge in art and design, which has made my career thus far possible. Currently, at the Mandel JCC, I’m responsible for a variety of designs every day. These include flyers, playbills, social media graphics, apparel mock-ups, and more. The Mandel JCC is a large nonprofit organization, which means that the design needs are diverse and many. I’ve also done video creation and editing for their social media channels and emails. Previously, I’ve worked at UBU Brands where I worked on several projects including logos and branding for startup companies, event promotions, apparel designs, and social media writing and design. These projects typically began with a client pitch, then I would do preliminary sketches followed by a first draft. In my role as a Senior Designer I would often oversee junior designers and illustrators to guide them through projects. During my time with Riger/Cull Marin & Associates, (I first worked for Cull Martin & Associates, and then I continued working for Riger Marketing and Communications when Riger acquired Cull Martin) I mainly focused on designing direct mail packages for nonprofit clients. These packages included the envelope, greeting card, response piece, etc. In addition to the print pieces, these direct mail packages often included digital work such as email campaigns and website layouts. I also worked on print and digital campaigns for local commercial clients. These campaigns included billboards and animated ads. I would also receive logo and branding assignments, event design assignments, and more. I’ve worked for other agencies, nonprofits, and I’ve also worked on a freelance basis for individual clients. I could perhaps elaborate on that experience further during an interview. Thank you so much for showing interest in my work and experience and for your consideration. I look forward to hearing more about this position and your company. Sincerely, Adam Pedrone
