uniE621 Home Sweet Home Board Game
This project looks at ways to get young children involved in actively learning about their surrounding through play. Through my research I found that primary aged children best learn through play as well as feeling as though they are in a safe and comfortable environment. This game focuses on New Zealand's native animals and the habitats in which they live.  The aim of the game is to collect enough food for each animal in the player's hand and then to return them to their natural habitat. The scavenger cards in the game which act as action cards ask questions of the players about their animals, which if answered correctly allow them to pick up food tokens for their animals. The animal cards have all of the information needed in order to answer these questions. Throughout the game, players are also able to work together to find these answers, as well as trading food tokens and cards which help to build the players social and teamwork skills.  Throughout the project I created different types of collateral for the game including packaging, playing cards, food tokens, playing tokens, and an instruction book.

    uniE621 Architecture Series Brochure
This brief saw me creating 2 informative items that work together to promote the Architecture Series event. The first was a series of 3 posters promoting the event. These posters must be able to work together side by side as well as on their own.  The second piece was a brochure that would be given out during the event that gave insight into who the speakers are. The brochure also folds out into an A2 calendar on the back.
    uniE621 Market Brochure
This brief tasked me with identifying a series of three events or places in Wellington that shared a common theme and creating an informative brochure on the topic. I chose to focus on markets, specifically the Night Market on Cuba Street, the Sunday Waterfront Market, and the Underground Market at Frank Kitts Park. To highlight the unique and inviting aspects of these markets, I used collage techniques to showcase the diverse and interesting items available at each location, emphasizing what makes them special and enticing.
    uniE621 Typology Specimen
This type specimen is on the typeface 'Source Sans Pro'. I have continued the theme from my previous Typology book which is related to architecture of the locations of the typefaces. I chose this font because of the name as it links to my theme of the source of the typefaces. I continued the architecture theme in the specimen by using transparent drafting paper throughout the booklet and on these pages I showed how to typeface could be deconstructed to its simplest forms as well as showing off the different variations of it. graphicdesigner
