I recently earned a BA in Design with a specialization in Scientific Visualization from ZHdK, where I focused on developing interactive 3D learning tools for veterinary education based on CT data. My BA work centered on anatomical visualization and digital didactics, and I have a broad interest in science communication across different media. Until June 2026 I worked in web and graphic design for a research group at the University of Zurich (Vetsuisse), where I continued to expand my interdisciplinary skills and enjoyed learning new tools and perspectives.

    Interactive Pincer Wasp Claw
This groupproject explored the hidden mechanics of two parasitoid wasp claws. Using CT scan data, 3D visualization, and animation techniques, we investigated how different visual strategies — from transparency to silhouette — can reveal complex inner movements. The goal was to support both scientific analysis and didactic clarity. Medical 3D Visualization for a Multiple Sclerosis Treatment
This project was developed in collaboration with the start-up Innunity Therapeutics (UZH). The goal was to visualize the mechanism of action of a new MS treatment and make it accessible for patients. Through paired scenes with a slider principle, we compared processes with and without the medication, focusing on spatial clarity and medical didactics. Skull Studies
This project focused on studying animal skulls through both digital and analog approaches. Using authentic physical specimens as references, I created illustrations of a fox and a cat skull. The work combined traditional drawing techniques with white colored pencils and digital visualization in Illustrator. Knowledge Visualization, ZHdK, 2023 https://www.twine.net/signin
    Realistic 3D Hammerhead Shark
This project explored the realistic depiction of a hammerhead shark in its natural underwater environment. The focus was on achieving lifelike form and atmosphere through 3D modeling, texturing, and the targeted use of light and visual effects. As part of the process, I also learned the basics of 3D animation by creating a realistic swimming cycle. Finally, I experimented with 3D printing, aiming to transfer as much detail as possible from the digital low-poly model into a physical prototype. Knowledge Visualization, ZHdK, 2023
    Infographics for Horizonte Magazine
During my internship at ikonaut (2024), I contributed to several infographic projects for the University of Zurich and the magazine Horizonte. The aim was to translate complex scientific and technical processes into clear, accessible visuals for diverse audiences — from research communication to public outreach. ikonaut GmbH, 2024 https://www.twine.net/signin
    Kingfisher Vector Illustration
This project explored the reduction of natural forms into clean, simplified vector graphics. Using the kingfisher as a subject, I created a series of reduced vector illustrations in Illustrator, focusing on shape, color, and clarity. Knowledge Visualization, ZHdK, 2023 https://www.twine.net/signin
    Archaeological Illustration
This project combined analog and digital methods in archaeological illustration. On the one hand, I practiced traditional excavation drawing with fineliner; on the other, I created a digital 2D reconstruction of a Roman ice cellar. The reconstruction was developed in Illustrator and represents a personal interpretation based on archaeological examples. Knowledge Visualization, ZHdK, 2023 https://www.twine.net/signin
