I’m Kim Hoang Tuan Nguyen, also known as Tuân HollaBack, a Swiss illustrator who spent 12 years in Tokyo. My work blends the aesthetics of Japanese anime with the energy of urban and hip-hop culture, reflecting my passion for both worlds. Over the years, I’ve had the honor of collaborating with international artists such as RUN DMC, Jason Derulo, and Bun B (UGK), as well as French musicians like Vladimir Cauchemar, Seth Gueko, and Ateyaba. Through my creative label Holla Back Arts, I explore themes of identity, nostalgia, and cross-cultural expression, using illustration as a bridge between Japan and the West. I’ve also been active in the Web3 art scene, where I’ve sold nearly one million NFTs since 2021.
