Hi, I’m Aïsha Piquer Planella, a freelance illustrator and concept artist with a background in psychology, based in Barcelona. I love combining traditional and digital media to tell visual stories through characters, environments, and narrative art.

Since 2019 I’ve collaborated with NGOs, publishers, restaurants, and private clients on projects ranging from book illustrations to cover art and experiential concepts. Notable work includes Salut Trans (2023) for Gender and LGBT Lab, Morgan’s recipe guides (2024), One Life (2023) cover and interior art, and Relats reals (2019–2020) for SOS Racisme, among others.

This is a collaboration with Marissa García (a graphic designer) for an illustrated reading of “The Hill We Climb” by U.S. poet laureate, Amanda Gorman. A bundle of 30 illustrations accompanies the video and emphasize each stanza. illustrator

COSMIC FLOWERS AGAINST RACISM

Every year in October there is an ongoing challenge: as per the rules, every drawing made must be done with ink on paper. I’ve been participating since 2018, introducing small variations to the prompt list, or creating my own. The 2020’s version was a mix of both flower prompts and cosmic prompts. illustrator
