E-Invoice Costa Rica

Led the end-to-end development and successful implementation of an electronic invoicing system for a high-volume enterprise, processing approximately 2,000 sales invoices and 1,000 purchase invoices per month. Took full ownership of the project, including architecture, development, integration, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.

The solution featured seamless integration with a legacy AS400 system through an ETL process designed to extract and transform data efficiently. Designed and generated new invoice formats using Crystal Reports to comply with legal and business requirements. Managed the configuration and security of API permissions to ensure the accurate and secure delivery of electronic documents to both customers and Costa Rica’s Treasury.

Additionally, developed a custom administrative portal to centralize future configuration management. This included flexible mappings for new document types, units of measure, currencies, and other dynamic settings, ensuring long-term scalability and maintainability of the invoicing platform.
