About
I’m Alex Pokorný, a junior web developer focused on building real-world applications and personal software projects. I work mainly with TypeScript, Next.js, and React, and I enjoy going beyond the UI—thinking through architecture, APIs, databases, security, and how users experience the product.
I prefer learning by shipping: designing features end-to-end, debugging, and gradually expanding my backend knowledge (including Rust with Axum). Alongside my coding practice, I also build tools and automation, like an AI assistant platform that manages tasks over the long term, and I maintain a personal portfolio that showcases my work with a strong emphasis on responsiveness, animations, and SEO.

Work experience
Designed and implemented web and software projects end-to-end. Built REST APIs, worked with databases, and created frontend interfaces with a focus on architecture and user experience. Used Git and GitHub for version control, handled debugging and problem-solving, and applied continuous learning of new technologies and development practices. Also worked with Linux and gained practical experience planning and delivering features as part of personal product-style development.
