Hey! My name is Sasha Shuklin, I am a filmmaker from Kyiv and currently live and work in Berlin. I am now looking for new professional opportunities to contribute my passion and skills. Allow me to briefly introduce myself and my experience: At the age of 15, I began working on set – first as a runner and BTS photographer. Over time, I took on my own projects as a director and editor, producing short films as well as commercials, including advertising spots for leading companies in Ukraine such as Intergal-Bud, skate shops, and fashion brands. In 2022, the war in Ukraine broke out, which completely turned my life upside down. I had to reorient myself professionally and find a new approach to my career. Since then, I have been working fully in post-production as an editor and colorist; first at AngryBuddha Films GmbH, and currently as a freelancer for MOGRADE Operations GmbH, with clients such as Netflix, Vogue Germany, IG, and Sony Music. At the same time, I have continued to pursue my own passion projects, shooting various short films and commercials. My core competencies lie in editing and color grading, but in the past I have also taken on roles in directing, project management, and music composition.
