Hello! I’m Alfian Emir Adytia, a composer, performing sound artist, and educator based in The Hague, the Netherlands. My work sits at the crossroads of contemporary composition, electro-acoustic practice, and live performance, informed by my training as a cellist and my Indonesian heritage. I studied at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Den Haag and at the Indonesian Institute of the Arts in Yogyakarta, and I collaborate with orchestras, festivals, and educational institutions across Indonesia and Europe. I’m passionate about sharing knowledge through masterclasses, lectures, and workshops, and I often take on roles as artistic director, project coordinator, and curator for diverse projects—from new chamber works to multimedia performances.
