Amy has always gravitated towards Production, having taking TV classes starting in high school. At Montclair State University, she excelled in Production courses as well as Film Studies, but she wasn't captivated by the craft of editing until her first job cutting corporate videos for a small firm in NJ. From there, she worked at Bloomberg TV, honing her craft editing news packages, promos and eventually long form programs. Here she won a Business/Financial Reporting Emmy Award for Outstanding Investigative Business News Story for "401k Hidden Fees". At Bloomberg, Amy fortified her skills further by creating short videos for Bloomberg Businessweek, and eventually helped pilot the tech series "Hello World" with New York Times best-selling author Ashlee Vance. Always seeking new challenges, Amy moved to CNN in 2016 where she spearheaded Post Production for the successful Facebook series, GoThere, which later won a 2020 Eppy Award for Best Investigative/Enterprise Video with 1M unique monthly visitors for an episode on the Covid outbreak. Amy edited countless series and short docs for CNN, all while managing a team of freelance editors. She was also tapped to help launch a News Streaming Platform, CNN+. Since departing CNN, Amy has been freelancing for various clients such as The New York Times, NBC, CNBC, and Warner Bros. Discovery.
