    uniE621 Worm on an adventure
My inspiration for this painting was Shelby the worm from Adventure time. I grew up watching adventure time as a kid and really loved the art style and the vibes it gave off. I love drawing greenery or plants so I wanted to have him surrounded by plants so he would stand out. I thought it would be funny to give him a little bag and a fedora hat. Originally I was going to give him a beanie but I didn't like it, it just didn't fit well with the bag I gave him even when I tried alternating the colors. So I tried a different approach with the fedora and immediately fell in love with this concept so I kept it.
uniE621 Box turtle got the munchies
This is an illustration of a three toed box turtle enjoying some dandelion greens. One of my favorite animals are turtles and tortoises. I grew up with box turtles when I was a kid. There were box turtles living in my backyard and I just enjoyed their company whenever they stopped by and I'd give them an apple or a strawberry and they would like to hang out by my mother's garden when it was hot. So that's where the idea came for this illustration. I wanted to draw him eating and be surrounded by different plants.
uniE621 Space Raccoon enjoying some Cheezos
I just love raccoons and just the idea of them eating human food and doing some human things is just seems so silly and funny to me. I had to draw it. I love the randomness of it for one. Like why is he in space? How'd he get up there and why is he eating Cheetos and why not actual food that raccoons eat in the wild. To answer all of those questions I will tell the story that he mistakenly got stuck inside the rocket ship while he was searching for a place to store his food and he got accidentally shot up into space before he could escape and so he's now been learning how to adapt to his new surroundings by exploring space with the humans. I wanted the colors to be nice and cohesive and just eye-catching so I stuck with mainly cool tones and then added a little bit of warm colors to make the stars and the cheezos pop out. Fun fact I did the whole painting process on my phone because I didn't have an iPad pro at the time and so I just worked with what I got.
