Through the Design Lens is my ongoing design newsletter and case study platform, where I’ve published over 55 articles exploring how emerging technology (especially AI) is reshaping UX and product design.
Beyond writing, it’s where I simulate real-world product challenges to design and document end-to-end UX case studies. Some notable examples include “Active Contributions”, a proposed LinkedIn feature that enables professionals to collaborate on public projects, an AI-powered travel planning concept that personalizes itineraries based on user values and behavior, a prioritization app for Apple smart watches to track and adapt habits, and more.
Through these projects, I combine research, strategy, and interface design to explore how AI, ethics, and human behavior intersect. This ongoing work keeps me sharp, current, and creative, ensuring every client project benefits from an informed, future-oriented mindset.
At AI Alignment Liaison, I’m the sole UX designer working alongside engineers to design an AI platform, including an onboarding process, values system, and a GenAI chatbot. The product helps users clarify their personal values and translate them into actionable strategies through adaptive, human-centered interfaces.
I’m building the experience from the ground up by defining user flows, designing wireframes and prototypes, and shaping how AI interprets and structures user input into meaningful insights. My work balances usability with the ethical dimensions of intelligent systems, ensuring that personalization and transparency coexist.
This is an ongoing project currently in internal iteration, where I’m leading the UX direction and contributing to design strategy, interaction models, and the system’s information hierarchy. It’s a chance to explore how AI can support human reflection and decision-making when building AI products.
