I’m Amanda Smith, a post-production editor with over a decade of experience shaping brand films, event videos, ads, and unscripted content. I thrive in fast-paced environments where deadlines are tight and collaboration is essential, and I take pride in training junior editors and keeping complex data and workflows organized so teams can focus on storytelling.
From wedding highlight reels shown at receptions to high-end commercial projects, I bring strong storytelling instincts, technical skills across Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and Avid, and a collaborative mindset to every project. I enjoy building scalable processes, coordinating with clients and vendors, and turning a combined vision into polished, impactful video.

This spot was aimed at potential franchisees for Express Employment Professionals, a national chain that specializes in staffing services. This piece was particularly fun because I was able to collaborate on the concept as well as the final post.
It’s not every day that I get to work with a brand that has a following like Build A Bear. So when I got the opportunity to collaborate on this piece for social to launch their latest product offering I was really excited. The concept was simple. Show the impact that hearing a loved ones voice can have. The spot went over very well on their social media outlets and created a lot of excitement around the product.
Baby Lock is a premium sewing brand I have worked with on several occasions. Together we have collaborated on 30 second feature videos as well as long form product launches. Sewing has a natural visual interest that comes across beautifully with the luxury style that embodies this brand.
This is the trailer for a 6 episode unscripted series that I worked on as both editor and post production supervisor. This whole project was achieved with a small team and limited budget while maintaining professional quality.
