I’m Allwin K. Rex, also known by my pen name Andres De Rex—a passionate learner, writer, and researcher from Samaria, Manapparai, Tamil Nadu. I am currently pursuing my Master of Science in Physics at St. Joseph’s College (Autonomous), Tiruchirappalli, where I previously completed my undergraduate studies. My academic interests lie in astrophysics, cosmology, and the fundamental structure of the universe, including topics like dark matter, dark energy, cosmic rays, and the nature of time. My early research work, “Investigation of Earth-Directed Halo Coronal Mass Ejections during Solar Cycles 23 and 24,” was guided by scientists from the Indian Institute of Astrophysics (IIA) and Kodaikanal Solar Observatory (KSO). Beyond academics, I am also a published author, podcaster, photographer, and science communicator. I’ve written books on general knowledge, cooking, and am currently working on titles that explore philosophy, psychology, and human behavior. I host podcasts like Story Time with Rex and Curiouser Club, blending storytelling with science and reflection. I serve as Class Representative, am part of the Student Council, and lead the Environmental Team under the Shepherd Department. I am also a NASA Citizen Scientist, and affiliated with global organizations like Astro–capsule and the Astronautic Institute. I enjoy working at the intersection of science, creativity, and culture—and I’m always open to new collaborations in research, writing, and digital communication.
