March 31, 2003 - June 29, 2013Crispin Porter + Bogusky was a top-flight advertising agency. I was lucky enough to work with them during the era of their peak ascendancy. Crispin's excessively high standard of creativity and attention to detailed helped me raise my already lofty caliber. Working in the art department, doing artwork mechanicals, graphic design and illustration, my crafting of as and draftsmanship reached a deeper aesthetic: cleaner, more professional. Eventually, I was made their in-house illustrator, where I thrived on working with art directors, often in the earliest phases of some of the most creative campaigns of the decade.

June 5, 1994 - March 15, 2003CGR Communications taught me how to be an Ad Man. As a young art director I honed my craft in all aspects of the ad game; learning proper typography, mastering layouts and artwork mechanicals, coming up with ad ideas, then directing photoshoots to bring those ideas to life. Basically, I learned how to produce ads from conception to final execution. I created a few of the agencies best campaigns, over the years, and, eventually, they made me an associate creative director, shortly before I left.
