Challenge: Implementing a single inverter compressor to serve both
compartments, coupled with a dedicated chilled-water system. Water was cooled
in the refrigerator section but dispensed through a dedicated outlet on the freezer

Solution: Designed an intelligent refrigerant circuit and piping layout to manage
disparate thermal loads while routing chilled water to the freezer dispenser without
compromising core cooling performance.
2- Unconventional Defrost System for the Refrigerator:
Challenge: The refrigerator’s evaporator lacked a conventional electrical
defrost heater. Defrosting had to be achieved via an alternative method synchronized
with the overall system.
Solution: Engineered a hot-gas defrost cycle (or leveraged the inverter
compressor’s reverse cycle) for frost removal, requiring precise control logic and
seamless coordination with the freezer’s operation.
3- Primary Challenge: Intensive Cross-Functional Alignment:
