Hudson MX Style Guide & Brand Overhaul
When I began working at Hudson MX, one of the things that the CMO brought to my attention was that the company’s style guide and overall brand standards needed a revamp. Years before my hiring, they had used an outside agency to create their brand identity and style guide. The CMO was unhappy with several of the standards they set (namely fonts and color usage), and had stopped following them. From their input, I was able to solidify the standards and build a style guide that modernized their brand identity. Hudson MX Presentation Template (Major Update)
Hudson MX as an organization used Google Workspace across the board, and their Google Slides template was widely used internally and externally by every team. Their last update of this asset took place in 2019, well before my arrival. However, in light of the updates being made to the brand, my team and I decided the presentation template would receive a corresponding revamp. The process was meticulous and produced a template that was 128 slides long based on the premade layouts, copy-and-pastable icons, and an instructional index. Two versions – a full version and a skeleton version – were made available for use company-wide. Hudson MX, Former Agency CFO Interview Video
In Q3 2024, Hudson MX had previously recorded an interview between Hudson MX's former CFO, Jason Kopeloff, and its former SVP of Strategy, Jessie De Luca to be featured in a webinar. As we moved into Q4, the Marketing Team had begun looking at reutilizing several materials such as interviews as part of a targeted LinkedIn campaign to drive leads for the Sales Team. As the interview between Jason and Jessie had proven informative, it was chosen to be repurposed into an asset to drive traffic from LinkedIn to our site and leads to our Hubspot contacts. I was tasked with handling the edits for this version of the interview. View the project here](https://www.twine.net/signin videoeditor motiongraphics
    Hudson MX, Product Story Graphics
Per conversations I had with the CMO of Hudson MX, I was tasked with creating assets known as Product Stories. These were stylized graphics based on various aspects of the MX Platform’s interface – the intention being to have relevant graphics readily available for product spotlights, print marketing materials, social media graphics, blog entries, release notes, and various other mediums. RPG Battle System Case Study
A few years ago, I wrote up plans for a turn-based RPG video game battle system. While I came up with one very basic visual concept, I didn’t go far beyond it at the time. Over the course of the pandemic, I began exploring the concept a bit further by starting from scratch on the visual assets involved. This involved not only aspects of the layout but also pixel art assets. To give myself an existing universe to work with, I chose to use the Lola the Buhund book series’ story and characters as an example set-up of this system. Palbetto - App Case Study
Palbetto is an app that would function specifically to allow a Game Master/Dungeon Master (herein referred to as a “DM”) of Tabletop Roleplaying games to better connect with and coordinate session times with players in campaigns that they’re currently hosting. The app enables DMs to proactively set their availability and coordinate it with their existing party of players to ensure that sessions are able to be held at regular intervals. Journal Friends® Plush Toy Line
In late 2018, I began work on the Journal Friends® toy line at the behest of my employer. Journal Friends® are plush toy journals that are styled to look like various characters based on animals. Out of the final 12 designs, 6 were designed by me, while the remaining 6 were handled by another designer. I did however, set up the tech packs that went to the factories producing all 12. Additionally, the brand logo, packaging, character illustrations, and character backstories (body copy featured on the back of the package) were all created by me. These products made their debut at the Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market®, held at the Americasmart in July of 2019.
