My name is Arely Reyes, I am a passionate photographer specialized in fashion, beauty, and hair. I’m also drawn to the film industry, whether working as a camera operator, still photographer, and/or  producer. My journey with photography began during my junior year of high school, and my love for it grew even stronger in my second year of college, which is when I realized how deeply fashion, beauty, and hair influenced my creativity and inspired me to focus in those fields.  Since then, I’ve worked on several creative projects, both independently and collaboratively, helping bring different visions to life. My interest in filmmaking grew naturally along the way as I joined the film major in MSU, leading me to work on my first film project with an incredible team. This experience showed me how important teams are, and how meaningful it is to create alongside others who share the same passion. After completing my first film, I worked as a behind-the-scenes photographer on three different film sets, which then inspired me to look into more roles such as camera operator. Currently, I am expanding my photography into event and documentary work. Recently, I completed a cultural project that blended creative photoshoots with documentary-style imagery. Whether it’s fashion, beauty, or storytelling through documentary work, I’m drawn to projects that carry meaning and emotion. I want to get  more involved in events such as fashion shows, music, and community projects.
