Howdy, my name is Patrick Armario and I am a 3D Character Animator with over four years of experience in indie and AAA game animation. I studied animation at the Savannah College of Art and Design and graduated in 2020. I have animated both motion capture and keyframe animation in multiple programs such as Maya, MotionBuilder, and UnrealEngine 5. Notably I recently worked with Space Rock Games to build up a cinematics animation team that tackled cutscenes. I also worked with House Of Moves to produce animation for games such as Mortal Kombat 1 and Metroid Prime 4. I like working in collaboration with others. I see animation as only a part of a greater whole and even myself as an animator a smaller part of the team.I prefer to be in constant communication with supervisors and team members to keep channels clean and workflows efficient. If a task needs to be accomplished I prefer to first touch base with my lead or director and bounce ideas back and forth. I like to actively seek out feedback. I believe that things often work best when properly tuned and I take that philosophy into my work as well. I also have been getting really into longsword fencing.
