Armen is a multidisciplinary creative and entrepreneur working at the intersection of sound and film. An AVID-certified Pro Tools specialist and accomplished sound designer with an MA degree in Sound Design and Film Arts, he brings deep expertise in film with his film editing skills and sound design, with academic research focused on the silence in cinema.

winner, etc. ), and many more. Beyond film, he is the creative force behind Saghsara, a transmedia musical documentary project that revives old Armenian folk songs through modern soundscapes.
He is also a lead guitarist and vocalist of the alternative metal band Lousnelius, with a debut album nearing release. Uniting academic depth, artistic vision, and entrepreneurial grit, his work amplifies underrepresented narratives and redefines the way sound connects people, place, and memory.

A short dance film about memories. The film has no dialogue. All the sounds are created during post-production. Releas in July 2025
The film was made within the scope of the FilmEU program KinoEyes.
I worked here as a Set Sound Recordist, Sound Designer, and Sound Editor.
The film is set in a techno club, so the recordings were quite challenging, and I implemented the thumbbeat technique to record a clean dialogue.

The director was my student at that time. She filmed over 100 hours of iPhone footage, which I edited into a feature-length film that eventually went on to festivals all over the world and won many of them.
