Hi! I’m Aiden Cella, a passionate game developer with a strong background in C++ and C# programming, as well as Unreal Engine and Unity. I’m a graduate of Purdue University with a Bachelor’s of science in Game Development and Design.
Getting a prototype together is my specialty. Three weeks would be plenty of time to lay out a solid GDD and implement the main game loop to begin testing and improve on.
I love designing engaging game features and optimizing gameplay to enhance user experiences. Currently, I work at Black Swan Studios, where I get to bring innovative game systems to life, and have been working hard to soon release a multiplayer RTS game “Worlds Collide”.
I am a dedicated collaborator and always eager to tackle new challenges in game development. Some of my most notable technical projects would be my rhythm game HarmoniX, which allows players to import in their own music files and play the game along to them, with many parts of each level syncing up to the BPM. For Worlds Collide, I am the sole c++ programmer who created an innovative player editable voxel terrain from scratch, with support for 2 player multiplayer.
I work fast but with no shortage of polish and forward thinking in every step along the way. My years of experience working on both solo and collaborative projects have forced me to learn all aspects of game development such as shader programming, UI design, and even 3D modeling.
